About Me

I am a licensed clinical social worker in Los Angeles. While not in private practice, I work at UCLA Health BHA Motion Picture Television Fund Calabasas clinic. Previously, I served as an adjunct lecturer at the University of Southern California Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work where I taught various graduate level courses since 2016.

I have been working in the mental health field for 15 years. I have held positions in various mental health roles, including as an LCSW, a clinical supervisor, field instructor, and therapist.

I regularly conduct community workshops and lectures on topics such as Trauma, Anxiety, and Resilience during the Pandemic.

I specialize in trauma and am certified in Managing Adaptive Practice, Seeking Safety, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy evidence based practices. I have had advanced training in Perinatal Mental Health and am pursuing a certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) from Postpartum Support International.

I received my Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Southern California Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work in 2010. I received a bachelor’s degree with a major in psychology and social welfare from UC Berkeley in 2005.
